POST 1468 GETS BRIEFING ON MILITARY RECRUITMENT STATE OF AFFAIRS.

Post-1468 was honored to have U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant BRANDON ASHBY speak to us regarding the current state of recruitment into the armed forces and provide helpful information regarding community and civic engagement.

SSgt. Ashby, a Fulton, NY native, has served overseas and in the continental U.S. Staff Sergeant Ashby was engaged and answered numerous questions from our Legionnaires, who had concerns and praise for the current state and condition of our armed forces.

SSgt. Ashby was exceptionally polite and respectful to our veterans, who regarded Ashby as a fine example of a U.S. service member. Of course, projecting himself as a Marine should, I was told by our Marine legionnaires that he brought back many fond memories of their own time in the service.
