October 25th Open House was a Success
An Open House supporting Cub Scout Pack #68 and Scout Troop #68 was held at the American Legion Post on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022.
We had a great turnout from many local youths, both boys and girls, and their parents. All signed up to become part of either the Pack or the Troop.
All the scouts who participated were very impressive. They all were outgoing, friendly, and very knowledgeable about Scouting. The children interacted with the Scouts themselves as well as the supporting adult Scout leaders present. Engaging in an assortment of activities such as soft cone archery, hockey-Sack and other activities.
The parents or adult chaperones were provided a separate interactive briefing on the individual programs being held by Director Ron Hill to include the current Cub Scout pack #68 and Scout Troop #68.
We want to thank Ron Hill, the Towpath District Director, for organizing this event and allowing Legion Post 1468 to become a part of the Scouting Family.
