The 1st Annual Veterans Winter Clothing Drive was a success. We’ve received the donations listed below.
- 98 new men’s coats.
- 18 new women’s coats.
- 27 extension cords.
- 19 additional boxes of used men’s coats.
- 8 boxes of women’s used coats
- 2 boxes of kid’s coats.
Thank you to our fellow citizens who stepped up and stopped in to hand deliver their donations. More than anything else, the individual citizen, like the individual soldier, does make a difference!
The new mens and women coats will be delivered to the VA Hospital on Friday, February 3rd, 2023.
The remaining used items will be delivered to the Syracuse Vet Center at 109 Pine Street at a date and time TBD.
Kids clothing will be taken by Legionnaire Dave Sturgeon for dissemination amongst our City school kids in need.
